Mawgan Porth
Mawgan Porth beach is a secluded cove with sun-bleached sand and clear blue water. Sheltered on both sides by cliffs, the beach is a relaxing retreat tucked away from the masses.
Watergate Bay
This stunning bay is made up of two miles of expansive golden sand and azure sea making this a fantastic beach for surfers and activity lovers of all ages and abilities. Watergate Bay houses the outdoor sports training centre as well as Jamie Oliver's restaurant Fifteen Cornwall.
Newquay
Just five miles to the South West with a wide range of things to see and do. Explore the harbour, take a dip in the swimming-pool, play squash or tennis or take things easy in the garden or zoo. Enjoy a meal, walk around the shops, join in the nightlife - there's lots to keep you busy.
Padstow
The traditional Cornish fishing village of Padstow, on the Camel Estuary, is located just nine miles in the other direction. The Camel estuary is a mecca for watersports, water skiing, wind surfing, sailing and boat trips. Mullet provide superb sport for the keen fisherman well worth a visit.
Surfing
Cornwall is world-renowned for its surfing facilities and with the KingSurf surfing school located in Mawgan Porth and Newquay a short drive away you really are spolit for choice when it comes to riding the waves.
Walking
With the South West Coastal Path just 3/4 mile from our doorstep there is some of the country's most spectacular coastal scenery awaiting you. In both directions a bus ride out will give you a purely coastal walk back.
